As a discouraged woman, early in life, I would like to offer 20 suggestions on how to stay encouraged in your dreams and goals.
Speaking is critical in today’s business world. The spoken word is not what you say or how you say it. It’s the power you receive by connecting with your audience.
If you want to be an entrepreneur, you must know that “your word” is everything. If you tell a client you will meet them at a certain place, at a certain time, then you must be there.
Be Positive: Think before you post, as everyone has problems and people don’t want to hear about them. Be Transparent: Be Awesome, Authentic and Real.
All successful people have a vision. Without a future vision, it is very difficult to work in the present. You can easily recognize the people without vision
What really motivates us? Making more money, driving in a bigger car, achieving more social standing or prestige? Or are these goals external needs rather than motivations that serve our growth and transformation?
So, you want to be an image consultant and write a book, give seminars, or you have a great image tip you think the world would be interested in.
Determine what the audience expects from you and deliver what they want. Be ready for the Q and A section. Consider what questions may be asked beforehand.
NEVER allow anyone to take away your dreams. You can be anything you want to be. You have to believe in yourself.
Effective communication promotes a better understanding of people, reduces conflict, and enhances relationships. Listening is key in the communication process, for if we don’t know how to listen, there is no communication!
So, you want to write a book. You thought about writing a book. You may have even saved information for the book you’ll write “some day.” Why not write that book? But where do you begin. I’ve mapped out steps to take to write your first book.
