How This Marketing Course Will Help Your Business

This marketing course is crucial for anyone beginning or also, wanting to advance in their business. So, throughout this course you will learn why marketing is important and, what is marketing management.

WHAT IS MARKETING?

Marketing includes all the things you do to keep a client and also, all the activities you provide to create a demand for your services.

CHOSEN MARKET

So it is the potential clients who you see as an opportunity for a future, prospective buyer. Therefore these are people who you observe that may need your services. For example, a director at a high school, probably does not have time to shop. Consequently, you can offer also, your wardrobe service in an introductory letter.

First of all, use a code of your choice. You can number from 1 – 5 or use the alphabet from A – Z. As a result, you will have a general idea of who to contact and in what order

Ask yourself these six important and relevant questions

WHY AM I DOING THIS?

Are you doing this to inform or instruct, persuade or sell, make recommendations, inspire, initiate action, clarify to gather some ideas or to entertain?

WHO IS GOING TO BE MY AUDIENCE?

Will your objective be to show them how to help with costs, improve their quality, help with scheduling or give them better productivity?

WHAT AM I GOING TO TELL THEM?

What do these people know? What can I teach them? Is there something I need to not tell them?

WHERE WILL I DO THIS?

Is there a meeting room? Do I need to make reservations? What size groups do I need to accommodate? Will my method of presentation work in this area? Will I have the audio-visual equipment I need?

WHEN WILL THE MEETING TAKE PLACE?

This audience needs to be kept interested. How much time will you have when the meeting takes place? How much time will you need, including preparation time?

HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS?

Are you going to use a commercial artist, a college student or a speechwriter to accomplish what you need to present?

NETWORKING EXPERIENCE

One of my own networking experiences:

Some of my students in a Personal Development for modeling course that I taught went over to a large, local department store to apply for a job.. As a result, it turned out that the Director of Marketing for the store used to babysit for me when my children were small, so she remembered how nice I was to her. Therefore, it was the babysitting job she loved to go to. As a result, in return for my being kind to her (something we should all be anyway,) she hired these girls.

PLANNING & GOALS OF MARKETING

It is especially  important to have a daily plan. So, it may be relevant to take some time to think about it.

Put down short-term objectives and set and plan for a six month or one year period. Keep a record of your progress.

WHAT IS MARKETING STRATEGY

There are four reasons people want to purchase your product and/or your service:

  • They trust you
  • Potential customers appreciate you
  • People like your product
  • They see value in your service/product

As mentioned before, I believe in using the telephone to arrive at your client base. Decide what you are going to say and refer to this while on the telephone, so that you can get the information you need for a further contact.
